Ground Squirrel restaurant is a true gem nestled in the heart of Twentynine Palms' walkable downtown district- and just a short drive from Joshua Tree. Located in a set of charming old buildings, this restaurant stands out as a must-visit destination for foodies and casual diners alike. The ambiance is welcoming and relaxed, with a rustic charm that perfectly complements the simple yet delicious fare on offer. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you'll find something to satisfy your taste buds. The menu is carefully crafted, featuring a selection of classic dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. However, it's the burger that truly steals the show. Made with in-house freshly ground beef, caramelized onions, and an out-of-this-world bun, it's a culinary experience that you simply can't miss. So don't worry, Ground Squirrel isn't a menu option – it's a destination worth visiting again and again.

Prepare to have your taste buds blown away by the burger at this fantastic restaurant. Picture this: succulent, in-house ground beef, perfectly seared to lock in the flavor, topped with caramelized onions, all sandwiched between a bun that's out of this world. If meat isn't your thing they have plenty of fresh salads, sandwiches, and amazing cocktails.

You absolutely must try it. Trust us, one bite and you'll be thinking about it for months to come. In fact, you'll be tempted to jump out of bed early in the morning, get in your car, and make the journey back here just to enjoy it again and again.
